JMT Youth Angler Big Fish Prize went to 4 year old Palmer McClellan, IV with a spot tail bass weighing in at 3.93lbs. Palmer is from McClellanville.

The prize consists of a plaque & $100 cash donated by Dr. Joseph Thomas, McClellanville resident and father of Josh Thomas (JMT) as well as a fishing rod & reel donated by Haddrell’s Point Tackle & Supply of Mt Pleasant.

The school hopes to serve 125 to 150 students when it opens.  There is a year’s worth of work to recruit, plan, prepare curriculum, attract teachers and engage the families in the area.  For updates and information, go to the facebook page.
